THE NEED
Poverty has always been recognized as the major cause of diseases, death, disability, and illiteracy.
- Provision of adequate shelter for children in need
- Provision of basic education for orphans and vulnerable children
- Provision of quality health care to orphaned and disfranchised population (Need for Xray, Ultrasound and dry chemist machines)
- Provision of safe drinking water through sinking of boreholes to the vulnerable population.
- Provision of transport for children to access church and schools
TARGET GROUP OF THE PROJECT
The organization focuses on disadvantaged children, emphasizing children abandoned by one or both parents, children from poor families, street children and children who have been abused. Children 6-16 years of age who are orphaned and vulnerable

PROJECT GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
- To provide an opportunity for orphans, semi-orphans, and poor children to live in a health and friendly atmosphere with parental love to pursue their education.
- To impart moral and Christian values to children to strengthen them to become self-reliant.
- To provide food, shelter, health care, education, and clothing for orphans, semi-orphans, and needy children in a Home in Mazabuka, Zambia.
- To provide clean safe drinking water to the vulnerable population.
ACTIVITIES
The following Activities are undertaken:
- These children are provided with food, shelter, school uniforms, books, and clothing, and has a vision of also setting up vocational school for people within the locality to acquire normal education and skills in different disciplines and Jobs, respectively.
- The health of the children is taken care of, the commonest diseases been Respiratory Tract Infections, Diarrheal diseases, Malaria, ENT infections etc.
- The children are being brought up under strict discipline. The children are being taught and given guidance for their Physical, mental, and spiritual growth.
PRINCIPLES AND VALUES
Respect
For human rights, ethics, confidentiality, informed consent, privacy, and individual dignity should be maintained. Practices apply equally to poor and orphan children as to other individuals. Fighting discrimination, enhancing respect for individual autonomy and human dignity, and pursuing informed consent are all relevant to orphans.
Equality
Affordable care of acceptable quality is provided to all people regardless of gender (men and women), age, race, ethnicity, and place of residence. More attention is given to those groups of people that have more problems accessing care: orphans, girls, street children, the uneducated, and the poor.
